Payment Policy

At Autopart, we aim to make your shopping experience as secure and convenient as possible. Below are the payment options we accept, as well as important details regarding transactions and possible fees.

Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods:

• Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Union Pay
• PayPal: Use your PayPal balance or a linked payment method (credit/debit card or bank account)
• Shop Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay: Fast and secure express checkout options where supported

All payments are processed securely using encrypted payment gateways. We do not store your card information.

Payment Methods Not Accepted

For your protection and ours, we do not accept the following payment methods:

• Cash payments
• Bank transfers
• Cash on delivery (COD)
• Cryptocurrency

Additional Charges or Fees

• We do not charge any extra fees for using the accepted payment methods listed above
• Currency conversion fees may apply for orders placed from outside New Zealand
• Your bank or payment provider may charge international transaction fees
• For refunds, please allow 5–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your payment method and provider

Security & Fraud Prevention

To prevent fraud, all orders are subject to verification and may require additional confirmation before shipping.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders deemed high-risk or suspicious.

When you will dispatch orders

Your order will be shipped from our Hamilton warehouse within 1 business day

after we receive your payment. Our cut-off time is 12 PM. This means that if your

order is placed before 12 PM, it will most likely be shipped on the same day, and

our system will email you the tracking number. 

Postage Fee

The following price are calculated based on either volumetric weight or actual weight.

0KG-0.99KG: $9.99

1KG-1.99KG: $12.99

2KG- 4.99kG: $15.99    

5KG- 9.99KG: $18.99

10KG and up: $25.99

Rural Address: Extra $10

Delivery Time

North Island: 1-2 Business days

South Island: 2-3 Business days

Rural Address: Addition 2-5 Business days

Rural shipping fees

$10 rural postage will be charged if you are in rural area, you can always

change the shipping address to a non-rural address to avoid rural shipping costs.

Missing order

If the order is showing as ‘delivered’ but it hasn’t turned up please get in touch with

the delivery company directly.

Contact Info

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products such as special orders or personalized items, please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
